Kenora District
Services Board

Essential Service Support

The Kenora District Services Board (KDSB) is committed to providing effective and efficient district-wide services that support individuals, families, and communities in reaching their full potential. KDSB is a strong supporter and partner of Gamikaan Bimaadiziwin and the alternative transition model to support traditional healing and pathways. Doing so will improve lives and ensure that individuals and families can prosper, be healthier and reach their full potential, creating strength and resilience in our communities.

Treaty Three Police

The Treaty Three Police Service is a self-administered Policing entity under the First Nations Policing Program in Canada and is responsible for full policing duties spanning 55,000 square miles of the Greater Treaty Three Region in Northwestern Ontario. This includes approximately 20,000 local residents in 23 First Nation Communities.

Ontario Kenora Jail

Kenora is a  Provincial jail which houses approximately 105 adult male offenders in both remanded and sentenced custody.

Treaty #3 area.
